When I started this particular blog (I started several before settling here: Xanga, Vox, Wordpress, Tumblr), I did it for the purpose of sharing my pregnancy and motherhood stories about Athan because during that time, I was just often at home and since writing is a love of mine, it was a way for me to express my feelings and have something to look back on as memories when Athan gets bigger. It became an online journal and even if blogging has evolved so much beyond personal posts, I still can't help but return to this platform to share my family life like before. :)
Since I wanna go back to more personal posts, I want to talk about my pregnancy journey!

Another year means another round of our much awaited toy event of the year - TOYCON!♥ My family and I really look forward to this. The moment we learn about the schedule of it, we already have that particular weekend reserved. :)
For this year's TOYCON, it was held last June 28-30, 2019 and fortunately, I was able to go to Day 1 with my friends and Day 2 with my family!

Ever since 2016, the Hubby and I have been an avid fan of going to TOYCON and we always look forward to this every year. :) For 2018, TOYCON is happening from June 8-10. We had the chance to go on the first day since the Hubby has a two week break before he starts at his new job, so this was perfect! Going on the first day has its perks cos you get dibs on photos and seeing everything. Plus, it isn't as congested as the weekend. :)
If kids have the park or toy store as their 'playground', this 3 day pop culture event is our adult version of playground and here's a glimpse of this year's TOYCON POPLIFE FanXperience at SMX! ^_^

Being 27 and my husband 30 years old has never stopped us from being kids at heart. We love toys very much and a trip to the mall is never complete without a visit to the toy store! :)
When it comes to toys, my husband is more of a Lego and Gundam collector, while I'm into Disney and Funko Pops. Though, occasionally I also love collecting the mascots of certain Lego Minifigure series. :) Our favorite ground to search for new and cool toys is Greenhills. That place has so many stores that cater to different kinds of collectors. We never get tired of the place. Even our kids love it there! ^_^
So, imagine when it was announced that ToyCon 2016 was going to happen this June 10-12, 2016! It's the same week as our 9th Anniversary and thought this would be the perfect way to celebrate it.

I know Valentine's Day has already passed, but I realized that I haven't had the chance to blog about how I celebrated it with my husband this year! We've had a total of 9 Valentine's Day dates and so far, this 2016 is my favorite one. :)

I have been so caught up in backlogs lately that I haven't had the chance to do personal posts and I miss that a lot. Blogging just wouldn't be the same without the important parts of my life in it. :)
Do you, guys feel the same way when you blog? Like, you have to inject a bit of randomness to it or something that felt more 'you'? :) I hope I'm not the only one!
Before June officially comes to a close, I wanna blog about how the Hubby and I spent our 8th Anniversary as a couple last June 12.♥
