I was one of your biggest fan growing up as a kid and during the time that CD's we're popular, I begged Mom so much to buy me your double gold CD. I listened to your songs 24/7 on my portable CD player and I never got tired, not even a little, not even at all. But upon reaching my teen years my liking for your song didn't die, but just faded slowly because of all the modernity going on. But now that you've passed on, I realized how much impact you had on me and how much I will miss you. You showed me what REAL music is and I learned through Thriller, Beat it, Bad, They don't care about us and The way you make me feel. You truly are the greatest entertainer alive. Thank you for all the greatest hits you've made and for being a huge contribution to popular music and culture. You will always be a part of my youth and a legend to all of us you've inspired.

School has been good to me so far this week and thankfully I haven't felt lazy to wake up early, despite the fact that the gloomy weather make's me want to stay all snuggled up in bed. You have to admit, it takes a lot of effort to pull yourself out of bed at 6AM in the morning, especially if today was suppose to be a holiday-Manila day. But oh well, it's better that we have regular classes today rather than having classes on a saturday. :)

Moving on, lately I've been posting on my Tumblr again and even though I have this maintain-only-one-blog-rule, Tumblr just never fails to amuse me with all the funny, cute, weird entries and not to mention easy posting. I love Blogspot, don't get me wrong. It's just nice having a site where I can randomly post things without having to think of a long entry to go with the pictures or videos. But on the other hand, Blogspot is very personal for me. It's not like Tumblr that most of the things posted there can be found on other people's page. Still, I love both sites and I plan to keep Tumblr alive and running through posting cutesy stuffs. :)

Oh! Have you seen the new music video by Aqua? I was such an Aqua fan as a kid. Yes, all that "I'm a barbie girl-life is plastic-it's fantastic" thing. :P And finally after so many years, they released, BACK TO THE 80'S

I know classes officially started for DLSU and DLS-CSB a month ago, but because of the H1N1 incident, our school(CSB) suspended classes last June 9 and only re-opened today and the first people who would usually greet us are the guards who check our bags with their little sticks. But this time upon entry to our campus, not only do we get our bags checked, but they arm us with pocket alcohol and a pin that says, "SHOO THE FLU." That's the primary motto of our school now and I believe in every institute as well.

I cannot believe how much things changed since the virus attacked the Philippines. I can't even go to school the whole day without washing my hands all the time, getting scared when I get too close to the people in the LRT and now, because of the 7 days worth of meetings we missed all our national holidays and maybe weekends will be taken away from us. I honestly consider H1N1 to be an enemy of students, because first of all, we commute with a lot of people, we mingle with friends and classmates and ultimately it's inevitable not to be in contact with other people. Thankfully though most of the 300+ infected people are getting better and no one has died. I just hope that the 2nd wave that their talking about doesn't hit our country anymore. It's too much and it's bothering me. I want to be cautious. I don't want to bring any nasty virus to our home. That is why I bring more than just alcohol outside. I have wipes and liquid soap incase public C.R.'s don't have any. It's never bad to be extra cautious when in public. If we want to maintain good health doing extra moves is the only way.

So, If your in school, the office or just out for the day, don't forget to bring the necessary sanitation to protect yourself and your loved ones from the virus. Lets help in keeping the growing number of H1N1 victims to a stop.

Time really does fly when you don't anticipate things too much and finally the month that my Wubie and I have been waiting for has arrived. It's officially our 2nd year anniversary and what better way to celebrate it, but on the Independence day itself. A holiday that gives everyone a day off from everything and thankfully we have that day for our anniversary. We get to go out and not be bothered by any schedules ahead of us, Which, reminds me, HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO OUR BELOVED COUNTRY!:)

Two years? Not that long for some, but for us it already is, because nowadays it's hard to keep a relationship strong as the years progress and fortunately with God's blessings we are are still intact, content, in love and happy. For me a relationship can never really last without God's blessings, because he is the center of every relationship and he knows who is right for us. That's why I always pray for God's blessings everyday and thank him too, because without him I don't think we could survive the relationship. He is the center of all relationships that is what we should always remember and never forget. :)

Wubie and I celebrated our anniv, by having our traditonal Baked zitti and Lasagna dinner at Sbarro and we strolled around San Miguel by the bay to have quality time with each other. But today wasn't the only day we celebrated. Yesterday, Wubie and I already had an early celebration. We had dinner at Yoshinoya and he got me an early present for our anniversary---

I super love slot machine toys and trinkets. I wonder when will I ever grow up?:p Haha. But, serioulsy I LOVE my presents. They are and will always be appreciated by me. Simple as they may seem, they are more than just presents, they come from the heart. :) Thank you, wubie!:-*

Wubie, I know I may not be the easiest person to deal with, especially when I have my mood swings, but I thank you for always having the patience, understanding and strong love for me even though you find me difficult at times. You have never left my side through good times and the bad times. Our love has tested rapid waters and for sure there will be more to go through, because this is just the beginning of our journey as a couple and as a family. But even though it is just the beginning I want you to know that I will be strong and will have faith in you. Hey, guys!:) Sorry for not updating for quite some time. This entry really isn't the highlight of my week, but I just noticed that I have too many link exchanges going on and I was thinking that not all the links that are here visit me or leave comments often. From now on I would only keep links that are constantly keeping in touch with my blog, like leaving comments or even just dropping by to say hello. I hope you guys understand. I am not the kind of person who says, "yes" to link exchange just for the sake of having too many names on my side bar. So, what to blog today? Well, these past few days, I'm home bound, because I was experiencing chest pains and I think asthma at the same time, so the people in my household suggested for me to rest this weekend instead of the usual going out and with that notion, I just rested my tush and decided to surf for cute stuffs, which is like a kid on a trip to the candy store for me. :p During my search I stumbled upon these cutesy pieces---

I really love handmade goodies, because I believe it take's a lot of thought, love and effort when it's being made, you get a unique buy, plus you get to support independent artists whenever you purchase or promote their products. I think designer items have had too much limelight in our industry and it's just but right to give the handmade products the spotlight. That's why someday if I get the opportunity to have my own business, I want to sell handmade items from Filipino indie artists or some of my own designs as well. LETS SUPPORT HANDMADE!:)

I know the Swine flu issue has been going around for months now, but it's just now that I will be writing about it, because for one, I am in the same environment as to where a foreign student from De La salle University- Manila is claimed to be positive with H1N1 virus. It being able to spread this rapidly now scares me so much. I care for my own welfare, because I do not want to bring anything home that might affect my son or family members. It really is difficult when you cannot see something that you want to avoid sooo badly. It bugs me that our school, De La salle-College of Saint Benilde-- The neighbor school of DLSU did not even consider to suspend us even for a couple of days to prevent anyone from contracting the virus, but then again, we also have to consider the Lasallian system that if we do not have classes we will be doing a lot of school work and plenty of make-up classes to attend to. It's mixed emotions for me honestly. Because I'm scared, yet I do not want to delay my education. As for now the necessary precautions I'm taking is the bringing of wet ones, alcohol and liquid soap to my school. I am actually considering wearing a mask inside the LRT, since I commute and the LRT is my main source of transportation, I think it is rather safe to bring along a mask with me and wear it in the LRT.

As of now, there is really nothing we can all do with the situation. The least we could do is take all the precautions advised by the DOH and to avoid traveling to places that have H1N1. I learned some precautions in NSTP awhile ago and I would like to share them to you, guys.
