L'Oreal: Fall-in-love with the new black and white

by - October 13, 2010

Went to another blogger event at the very last minute courtesy of Beb Ana last Monday for L'Oreal's Black and White Affair. At first I was hesitant because I didn't know if I would be allowed to go, since the event was going to be just hours away and my Mom always had the rule that I should ask permission a day or days before the occasion. Fortunately though, my mom agreed because I only had class until 1PM and it was a good opportunity for me to experience. So, I hurriedly texted Ana and we met up at MRT Ortigas, because I was clueless as to wear Robinsons Equitable Tower was. =p And like real fashion commuters, we brought along our fashion items in our bags and fixed ourselves at the event. Hihi :)

At the event we were greeted by the gorgeous and zestful host, Kamae de Jesus...

Don't you just love her black attire? Cute!:)

She welcomed us and told us that we were to have a short game before anything else. We played the game Pinoy Henoy and our team representative was fellow blogger Earth while the other team had makeup artist Marj Sia. :)

Go Earth!!!
Mind you, even though we only had to guess black and white things, it wasn't that easy! Both teams put up a good fight. :) We didn't win, but congratulations to the black team!

We're team white! We met a new blog friend, Angela of Lush Angel. She was really nice and her blog is filled with good fashion/shopping tips! :)

Team black..I really love their side. Filled with L'Oreal products to swoon at!

After the game, L'Oreal gave us a presentation and talk about their new products; White Perfect Rosy Day Cream(Melanin-Vanish) for women and Pure and Matte Bright Charcoal Black Foam for men.

We also had another game after the presentation and it was Jeopardy the L'Oreal way!

Our team kept on going for the celebrity part and I was surprised to find out Gerard Butler was one of their endorsers. :) Swooooon! (be still my beating heart...) Again, we didn't win, but it was all good fun!

They also awarded the best dress that night. Like Ana said, if we only knew they were going to have that, we would have dressed up all spiffy!

On the closing part of the event, the nice people of L'Oreal told us that we can't leave without eating and they had some food prepared for us at their pantry. But as usual, before heading there, us bloggers just had to take pictures first!

My camera again died on me, so most of the pictures here are from Ana!

Yummy food! Devils egg, cake, fish fillet and soup :)

And for my outfit post...

Top: mango| Pants: edc | Shoes: parisian jr.

I didn't win the best dress, because I don't have much black outfits in my closet. This was the best thing I could come up with and I think it's alright. Simple chic, maybe? Hehe. :)

And like most blogger events, the organizers would always give us some goodies to take home and this is what I got...

L'Oreal Paris Total Repair 5; Night Essence and Conditioner and Pure and Matte Charcoal Black foam and Men expert Icy Roll On Eye.

My favorite are the hair products, because I already personally use L'Oreal's total repair 5 conditoner, though I can't wait to try their Night Essence. :) For the Menexpert items, I decided to give it to Gersh and actually made him try it last night. We're hoping for positive results!;) Plus, I heard from the hosts that they'll be releasing SACHETS for shampoos soon! Can't wait :)

Aside from the L'Oreal freebie, Ana gave me gift she wanted to give me at our last event Vanity Vanity...

Super love it! Thank you, Ana!! I will always be an ANAGON girl!

It was last minute thing and short event, but I surely did have fun. :) Thank you for the nth time, Ana for taking me along with you! I loved our conversations and bonding moments. I really never run out of things to say when we hang out. :) And to L'Oreal for having us! Lastly, like in every blogger event entry I have, Thank you, Mom for allowing me, Gersh for being such a great boyfriend. You never fail to fetch me and Lord, for this wonderful time. I'm very THANKFUL for this experience!:)
