A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies.
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Photobucket
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green,
Towering over your head.
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes,
And she's gone.

Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Lucy in the sky with diamonds,
Ah... Ah...
Photobucket
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain,
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies.
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers,
That grow so incredibly high.
Photobucket
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore,
Waiting to take you away.
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds,
And you're gone.

Picture yourself on a train in a station,
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties.
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile,
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

The boyfriend loves The Beatles and I got inspired to take a line from their song; LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS to make my entry title for him. He always takes my outfit shots, so I might as well dedicate a post for him. He's very good at being my photographer. Tee-hee. ;) I love you, Bie! Thank you for patiently taking my photos in the name of my blog and Chictopia. I owe all my chic points to you. Mwah!:)

For my outfit, I did a little DIY on my "vest", which was originally a blazer. I didn't like how the length of the sleeves and shoulder pads looked on me, so I decided to chop the sleeves off and get rid of the pads, because Gersh said they're "overly 80's" looking. =p Other than that I really love the cover up. Also, I always wanted to try the shorts over opaque tights look, but unfortunately I don't have opaque tights, so I opted for the only thing I had, which was the normal leggings. Hopefully I pulled it off. For my hair, I tried the French Braid Cheat tutorial by Liz of Mane Idea. She has awesome hair styling tips!:)

We just had a normal family bonding today. We had lunch at KFC and I'm happy to announce that I finally tried Double Down. SO gooooood. I can't wait to eat it again at school. Oh the greasy goodness!=p After lunch we went to the boyfriend's place to visit our Nanay and heard mass. I can't wait for more family bonding tomorrow! I hope you guys are enjoying the long weekend too. HAPPY SUNDAY, everyone!:)

  3. Isn't the double down too salty? I had it once - the end. Did you try the grilled version?

And I must say, you did pull it off! Ah-mazing!

Though - isn't it too hot to wear leggings there?
