Window on China X Mother's Day!
It's one of my favorite occasions today and I'm sure for all mother's out there too!:) It's the best feeling when people greet me a happy mother's day and when I see Athan growing up well. Overwhelming feeling to be a mother and I can't even begin to describe it. It may be hard, but it sure is rewarding! That's why always give importance to your mom and show her some love!
Happy Mother's day to your Mommies!!!:)
For our Mother's Day celebration, my Mom, Athan and I went to a theme park here called, WINDOW ON CHINA or XIA REN GUO. It takes us about 2 hours to get there. Tiring, but really worth it! The main attraction of the park is the miniature models of famous places in Taiwan, China, and other parts of the world!:)
It looks small from the outside, but once you get inside, there are different rides, the miniatures and places to eat!
The trains, boat, trucks and planes look real in the pictures don't they? It looks like I just took it from afar, but really they're small! If Athan and I step in there, we'd look like Godzilla! haha!:))
It's my second and Athan's first to visit Window on China, but I was still too young to recall what I saw before. Going today made me feel like it was the first time and we were amazed at how detailed and cute the scale models were.
All the pictures here are real places that can be found in Taiwan. I haven't seen ALL of the historical places here, so it's actually nice to have a glimpse. :)
A view of the first part of the park. :)
To get to the other half of the park, we had to take a train, because it's far and there's no other way to get there. =P
Here are some pictures from Europe, USA and more!=P
I have loads more of pictures from the park and the amazing miniatures, but I wouldn't wanna flood you, guys. Plus, my Picasa is giving up on me. :((
After our trip to Window on China, we went to Tony Bistro to have dinner and to celebrate Mother's Day!:)
It was a really fun day. :) I hope you all had a great mother's day celebration and thank you to all the people who remembered to greet me on this special day! Much love!!!
