Birthday salubong + Officially 24!

I've never really done birthday salubongs, but since birthdays come once a year, I like each year to be celebrated differently. :) So last April 20, my boys and I went to Greenbelt 3 to have dinner at one of our favourite Japanese restaurant, Yomenya Goemon. If you haven't heard about this yet, it's actually a pasta and pizza place that serves those food the Japanese way. Imagine eating your spaghetti with chopsticks. ;) If you wanna dine here, the estimate budget would be around Php 250-500. :)

Athan only orders one thing here and it's the Pizza Margherita. It's 10-inches in size and the breading of the pizza is so soft. I could actually just munch on that alone and I'm happy. But the thick cheese that covers the top is super good and makes it a perfect combination. Yum! The Hubby had some Margherita of his own, but it was spaghetti. After the first time he ate this, he has been strongly craving it. Just look at that happy face--craving satisfied!

As for me, I ordered the Soup Spaghetti-- Hokkaido Cheese Cream Soup Spaghetti with Scallop, Corn, Bacon and Potato. It's different from what I ordered the first time I ate at Yomenya Goemon, because I wanted to try out something different. It was delicious too, but if given the chance, I would actually have gone back to the Mediterranean Tomato Cream Soup Spaghetti with Fresh Seafood. I love the tangy taste of it more. :)

The Hubby and I had the Large Set Menu and it had our chosen Spaghetti, Wafu Salad, Soup and Lemon iced tea. But I recommend the Regular Set per person, because the large one will kinda make you feel too stuffed. :)

I can't believe that I am 24 years old now. Isn't funny that once we reach our twenties we start hating the fact that we're ageing so fast and birthdays seem to run after us now? But back when we were just 7 or 12 years old, we couldn't wait to get older. Oh the ironies of life! But as the saying goes, you won't feel bad ageing as long as may pinagkatandaan ka. :)

Once again, I spent my special day with the people I love. Be it offline, where my boys, grandparents and I headed out for my birthday dinner at Saisaki, Dads and Kamayan. I missed eating sushi so much when I was pregnant with Asher, so I definitely had to indulge myself with it this time!

This year, instead of a birthday cake, I had birthday cupcakes, because my grandparents aren't allowed to have much sugary sweets, so I don't wanna make them crave for it badly by buying a large cake and letting it sit in the refrigerator. Besides, I'm not really a cake eater, so this was enough for me. ;)

This is also my first birthday with Asher around, so it's such a treat. :) BTW, I absolutely love this photo of him and his daddy...STARE DOWN!!:)) Kidding! They look so cute!

I had to blow my candle three times; #1- At the restaurant #2- At home with my boys and #3- At home as well, but while Skyping with my Mom and Aunt. :) As you can see on the photo collage above, there's a print screen of us Skyping and it was really nice, because even if they're far away, I still got to celebrate with them online. :)

A few of the birthday greetings via twitter. :)

And since I mentioned online, I also want to use this opportunity to thank all of the people who took the time to greet me, be it Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Text Message or all of the above!^_^  Like my former 4th year adviser and favourite teacher whom I haven't seen in almost 4 years, suddenly greeted me on Facebook... It was just great hearing from him again. :) All the greetings really means a lot to me and it certainly made my birthday extra extra special. Thank you so much!:)

Lastly, two of my favourite gifts...

Thank you so much as well to my Hubby and SM Accessories for these awesome gifts! A great way to  cap off my birthday celebration. :) Thank you also to the online stores that thoughtfully sent me gifts as well! I love them all equally!

Thank you so much again to all of the people who made my day a special and indeed a happy one. Birthdays will never ever be complete without my loving family and wonderful friends, brands, and readers like you! Much love!!!
