I know January is already at its end, but at least February is just two days away, so I think it's perfect to share with you all my first Belle de Jour Box for 2014!:) Its been awhile since I last reviewed a box. But even if I have been blogging about BDJ Box for quite sometime now, I still get giddy whenever I see a fresh new box delivered at my home. After all, the purpose of this beauty box is to give you sweet surprises!
Anyway, back to my first review for 2014! Let me start by saying that a lot of the products in this box is quite new to me and I guess that's what makes them interesting. With the new year upon us, it's great to try new things out. :)
Beauty and Bright Moringa Soap, 130g
First up are these beauty soap. It is said to be packed with seven beautifying extracts like Moringa ( a plant), Papaya, Kojic Acid, Camellia Japonica, Candeia Tree Oil, Oxalis Triangularis Oil & Plant-based Lactic Acid. All these work together to renew and lighten your skin in as little as 4 weeks without the dryness.
So, I suppose now there's a better alternative to Papaya soap alone, because Beauty and Bright Moringa Soap already has Papaya as one of its key ingredients. :)
My Amazing Blow Dry Secret Shampoo & Conditioner
If you're the type of girl who's always on the rush and you want to fix your hair in a jiffy, well I think you'll these two products. :)
With its Virgin Coconut Oil Hydrosol Accelerating Dispersion Matrix, the shampoo wicks water away from the hair for a 50% faster blow dry and leaves your hair luxurious, silky, shiny and protected.
The conditioner is formulated with VCOH. It is similar with the shampoo and while delivering concentrated anti-oxidant nutrition deeply into the hair finer which repairs your hair, leaving it shiny and tangle-free.
You can actually get this in 300ml bottles for Php 1,200 each. :)
Vouchers
It such a treat getting vouchers from each BDJ Box. You pay Php 580 for every box subscription, but truly you get so much more! Imagine the vouchers alone are Php 3000+ worth of service. Awesome, right?:) I love it!
Tony Moly Skin Revolution Kit
Can I just commend how cute the packaging of Tony Moly is?? Especially the actual big ones sold at the store. :)
You have the Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack- The multi-functional massage pack contains anti-oxidant properties which prevents skin from ageing and provides an instant whitening effect and hydration. The 80g SRP is Php 548.
The Luminous Pure Aura CC Cream is an amazing cream that effectively whitens skin tone and serves as a makeup base/primer, an anti-wrinkle product, a moisturiser and sun block with SPF 30 PA+++. The SRP of this in 50ml is Php 948.
The Intense Care Live Snail Cream has no live snails crawling in it! I assure you! Hehe. Only Snail secretion. :) A highly-concentrated, skin-nourishing cream that improves the firmness and texture of your skin. An ideal solution for age spots, blemishes and fine lines. A 45ml costs Php 2,098.
Last is the Oriental Gyeol Emulsion- the active ingredient of Inca Omega Oil protects the skin's texture and balances the moisture and oil levels of your skin, leaving it radiant. A bottle costs Php 1, 398
Revlon Nail Art-Neon
As always, the nail polish is my favourite from the bunch! The last time I got a Revlon Nail Art polish was my BDJ Box last April 2013. It contained the Moon Candy one and also in the colour blue. This time though I got Neon, so I can't wait to try this out!:)
Unleash your inner artist! Create 3D cosmic effects, add some intricate details, or score bright neon nails with the expertly matched nail duos from Revlon's Nail Art Collections. :) Hope I get Expressionist next! ;) Heee! SRP in 7.68ml is Php 375.
Avon CC Cream
Attain luminous and naturally flawless skin with a single step, as this cc cream from Avon evens out your skin time by correcting skin imperfections while shielding your skin from the sun's harmful rays with SPF 30/ PA+++.
A 30ml tube costs Php 699.
Ellana Minerals Lip and Cheek Tint Gel and Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Mascara
The Lip & Cheek Gel gives a gorgeous, rosy glow that lasts the whole day. It delivers a sheer and beautiful no-makeup look while moisturising your skin. It doesn't dry quickly, giving you enough time to blend it evenly on your cheeks.
I got the Ruby Lip & Cheek Gel, but this also comes in Amethyst. SRP is Php 220. :)
The Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp Mascara is enriched with Carnauba wax that coats and thickens every single lash without weighing them down. Your lashes stay supple and never brittle for a full 12 hours. The SRP of this in 9ml is Php 650.
Garnier Color Naturals
If you like doing your own colouring, then you'd like this product from Garnier. :) This permanent colour cream is enriched with olive oil that nourishes the hair as it colours. It also comes with an olive oil post colour conditioner, so your hair is deeply nourished, and your colour is richer, more uniform and shinier. The SRP is only Php 199. :)
Well, that's it! Those are the 12 awesome brands that surprised me for the month of January-February! The boxes for March and April are sadly sold out, so try and catch the May boxes, which are now open for subscription!^_^
