Shopee addresses common issues faced by users on other existing marketplaces such as fraud, transaction risks, and the hassle of face-to-face meetings. I, for one, am not a fan of meeting a stranger just for an item, so I prefer shipping or COD from trusted couriers.

Shoppers can now purchase their favorite products from the app with peace of mind through a secure payment service called Shopee Guarantee - this ensures that if products are not received in the previously agreed-upon condition, payment will be refunded to the buyers in full.

Before the official launch of Shopee, I was already able to try it. I personally loved my experience with Shopee because the App was responsive, I didn't experience any lags and the sellers that I encountered ( there were 3) were very accommodating and easy to reach through the in-app Live Chat function of Shopee. :)

Did I mention, they have a hashtag function, allowing users to easily search for the most popular trending product or keep up with the latest trends. Fancy! Who says only Twitter and Instagram can have hashtags?? =P

Like I mentioned above, we got to try out the App at the official launch. But since I was already familiar with the App, it was easy peasy!

Sorry for the blurry pictures, but I bought a cute off shoulder top from Rafaela Couture. Even if the seller was personally present at the venue, we still did our transaction the Shopee way - via the App. :) Our transaction was done in less than 5 minutes! Quick and easy! ;)
