Who knew that driving could be so easy and difficult all at the same time? I love steering and the speed, but when your just a beginner, everything goes pretty slow.
So, I've already consumed 7 hours out of my 15 hours of driving lessons. I drove from Pasay to Paranaque today and my, my, my it is not at all easy. Our car is a Toyota Innova automatic and the car that A1 provided me is the same only it's manual in function. With that I have to gather all my coordinations together like, eye, feet and hand coordination all at the same. My dilemma right now and I know for sure, my instructor is getting quite tired of it, is the clutch and the gear shift. It's not that easy, I made the car tilt three times in the middle of the road, goodness me. Nevertheless, I am not going to quit. I am going to learn that stick shift if it's the last thing I do!
Can, I also share how much I dislike running the car on the road at only 20 KPH?? and at gear one, but I have to follow my instructor because he's the boss, but doesn't he realize whenever I over do the gas that I have a need for speed!?! hahaha. Kaskasera raw. Well, he did let me go at 40 KPH today and at gear 3. That made me a tad happy. I hope next time he lets me do that more.
I can't wait to get my Non-professional license next month. Hopefully, I do well on my exam at LTO. And of course I can't wait to take out our car and I am so thankful by then I no longer have to bear with a stick with many gears and most especially a CLUTCH! because an automatic car does not include one. Weeeee. That's one function, I am sure to forget every time I step in the car. Thank you to the people who invented automatic. Too much stress having a manual to drive. Hay,hay, hay. I admire all the expert lady drivers out there who can over take buses and trucks. I salute you all!
Anyhoo, that's all for now. All that driving has made me tired. Good night, everyone. Sleep tight!
I cannot express how much I want Athan to talk and play already. I want to be able to play games with him, tickle him, read stories to him, run around with him and of course, to hear him scream, "MOMMY!!!"Right now, the best thing, I've experienced him do is coo and smile spontaneously. Just awhile ago, I left him in his high chair which reclines because he can't sit up yet, because I had to grab coffee ( a must for puyatan! haha) and while I was waiting for the water to heat up, I talked to him and said, "Mommy and Daddy loves you!" after saying that he smiled at me and then with delight I followed it with the question, "Do you love Mommy and Daddy?" he again smiled plus cooed! Whenever he does that it simply melts my heart.
He really is trying to talk nowadays and I try to talk to him up to the point that I'm running out of things to say, because he wants you to keep on going and going.
Oh, Athan I hope you grow up a bit faster so that we can actually interact like, more play and talk. But not TOO fast, alright? hehe I want my baby to be Mommy and Daddy's baby parin..=) hehe.
Well, just wanted to give a little update on Athan. TC everyone! Have a great night.
So, our nights are simply composed of:
- Staying over at my place on a school night. (Bad boy! hahaha Hapon pa naman raw class niya eh=P)
- A little sweetness here and there while you're doing your homework on my desktop and me close by typing this entry on my laptop. (Chat tayo! kamiss ka eh haha..)
- Eating our stash of Ritz crackers, Pez candy, Black gulaman juice and maybe later some Cheese and sour cream flavored Ruffles. (O, ang sarap ng buhay di ba??)
- And finally, having a nice, and quiet time while baby sleeps for at least 2-3 hours,
-In short, isang masayang gabi ito. Goodnight, people!
THE END
We went to DLS-CSB a while ago to submit all the needed requirements for my re-application and unfortunately I didn't get the result of my applicant status on the spot because, they're going to release it all together with the other 2nd trimester applicants on August 20-22. GAH! I was hoping that my agony of anticipation would end today. I was even rushing my Mom when we were buying our first car at Toyota( None of us knows how to drive, btw haha) because, we stopped by the car shop 2 hours before the closing time of CSB's admissions office, thinking that I would get my much awaited result. But, I didn't. I have to wait for dear August to come. Torture much??
Please pray for me, guys. I need school badly and CSB's one of the best school's in Manila that's why I want to go there. Thanks, everyone! I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed! Hope, hope, hope for the best!
Oh, before I forget it's my barkada, The Powerfool's anniversary today! Happy 1st Anniversary, my Powerfool ladies!
