Mary Kay at play

Being the Artsy fartsy person that I am, I guess it can't be helped that it will always show through my stuff such as gadgets, clothes, accessories, and of course makeup! Yes, even when it comes to beauty products, I get attracted more if they're quirky or colorful! How can you not, right??

Which is why I got excited when I saw this lovely package that Mary Kay sent over to me last Monday. Just by looking at the paper bag you can already sense that there are fun things inside it. :)

And just as I reckoned, fun things! I'm sure you can sense it too with all the confetti strands. =P

So what's new with Mary Kay?

These are actually available in three gorgeous hues, but the ones I got are Berry Me and Hot Tamale. These two are the vibrant colors. If you want a more au naturel lip shade, you can try their Teddy Bear version. These Jelly Lip Glosses are super easy to wear and use. As soon as I opened this, I tried on the Hot Tamale and it smoothly glided on my lips. I love how it didn't require me to apply to much just to get that perfect shine. Plus, my lips feel soft and moisturized as well. :) I think this is also perfect for girls who want to wear lip gloss more than lipstick. I myself prefer this cos lipstick sometimes make my lips dry. But of course, I still wear lipstick during big events. :)

I haven't tried leaving it on the whole day yet, so I don't know how long it takes till it fades. So, will update you all on that again. ;)

Ever get tired of just having the typical dark shades of eyeshadows; black, nude or violet? Well, The Mary Kay at Play Baked Eye Trio has a new line of eyeliners that will surely bring out a luminous or bolder look. It has four vibrant eye palettes and the ones I got two, which are On the Horizon and Ocean View. 

These first one is all about gorgeous plums (my favourite colour!). This is great if you're going a warm, shimmery kind of look. While the second one is glistening with silver and teal colors that will make your eyes dazzle. :) If you're into Earth tones and smoky eyes, you can try their Earth Bound and Tuxedo palettes. :)

Basically the Mary Kay At Play collection is all about fun. It has flirtatious and fun colors that you can remix-n-match with ease. You can definitely say bye-bye to boring and get a look that brings out the best out of you. ;)
