ANELLO in MANILA!♥

There was a point in my life wherein I thought that I fully gave up on backpacks or my love for them just wasn't as big as it was when I was in high school. But the moment I saw Anello online, it was love at first sight! I fell in love with backpacks all over again and the whole design of Anello is just perfect for a girl like me who prefers carrying her bag in two ways! ^_^ 

When Anello was starting to trend here in the Philippines, there wasn't much stores offering them and the colors or designs were too limited. But now, Anello is officially in Manila!! :)


Anello is a world-renowned Japanese-Italian brand known for their signature wired wide opening backpack. Founded on the premise of improving people's quality of life with pieces that you can use regardless of the season, Anello, offers a full line of fashionably chic pieces that perfectly complement the lives of today's multi-faceted individuals. 

If you've been following our group Japan in Manila on Instagram, Anello was actually the first backpack that my friend Ana and I called our "club bag" ^_^




Anello, which translates as "annual growth rings" in Italian, was founded in 2005 by Carrot Company, a world leader in the retail industry who also owns Legato Largo, a woman's fashion brand, a Paquet du Cadeau, a brand that sells fun accessories. The company started its operation back in 1998 in Osaka, Japan.

The Japanese's keen attention to details and forward-thinking fashion sense is very evident in the structured silhouettes and added functions of the bags. And the best thing about it? Anello offers bags that come in all forms, sizes, colors and materials, making sure to have something for everyone regardless of personal style.

I personally love anything pastel or light colored and surely, Anello has it! :)


At the official launch of Anello in Manila last Wednesday, we were able to have our personalized name tags made to match our new Anello bag. :) Love it! 





The first Anello bag that I ever fell in love with was a lavender color and in mini size. :) It was absolutely perfect for all the things that I needed to bring around with me. Best part, it has a back pocket, so I no longer have to open the main zipper of my bag anymore during bag inspections here! Hahaha! >_< Convenience!



After the launch, my friends and I couldn't wait to go up and visit Anello store at the 3rd floor of SM Megamall Fashion Hall! :) It's the first store that ever opened here in the Philippines!

There were so many cute bags in the store that I actually got confused which one to get! >_< I didn't know if I wanted a canvas or leather type bag. Happy problem! Haha! Will reveal on Instagram soon what I got! Even planning to bring it to our upcoming trip! ;)

Anello's flagship store is currently located at Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons, while it also has third branch at UP Town Center. But if those are still far from you, guys, don't fret! They plan to open stores in Uptown BGC, Alabang Town Center and Robinsons Magnolia, so watch out for those! :)
